The Student Registration Process

The registration process for home students only should be started prior to your first attendance and requires students to complete three parts:

  • Part 0: The Application Process: Applying for a programme of study and receiving the confirmation letter
  • Part 1: Online Registration: Verifying personal details (name, address, payment method etc.)
  • Part 2: Registration Checks: Showing the Original Copies of Documentation (passport, qualifications etc.)

Part 0: The Application Process: If you are reading this you have probably completed Part 0. If you have not started the process then apply . You will need information from the resulting confirmation letter for Parts 1 and 2. If you have applied but have not recieved your confirmation letter then contact the CMS School Office.

Part 1: Online Registration: Please do your best to complete this before you come to the University. It can be done from anywhere that has a reliable Internet connection. If you are an International Student do NOT begin part 1 online registration until you have received your Visa and have arrived in Engalnd. Part 1: Online Registration facilities will be available a few weeks prior to the start of term. Part 1 registration requires payment details to be entered and will give you the oportunity to upload a passport type photo.

Part 2: Registration Checks: Cannot be started until after Part 1 is complete and requires all students to have their original qualifications and identification documents checked by University staff. If your qualifications are not in English you must provide an official translation. These registration checks usually take place, at set times, during the first week of your individual programme of study. If you complete the Part 2 Registration Checks early you still need to attend the rest of your first week's activities.
