FDSc Computing

This foundation degree programme is designed for individuals wishing to pursue careers as computing and IT professionals. Students will be working with the latest technologies to develop a sound theoretical understanding and in depth practical experience of the development, management and support of modern computer systems supporting key business functions. They will also acquire expertise in the design and management of modern computer systems using the latest software and development technologies.
Opportunities exist within the programme to take industrial certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle and Sun.
At the end of the course students will be competent in the skills and disciplines needed to succeed in the world of technology and industry.
Upon successful completion of the foundation degree, students can progress into the final year of our BSc (Hons) Computing degree programme.
