The School has a number of research groups & centres each of which is managed by a group leader. If you are interested in pursuing research in a particular area please first view the information provided on these pages and then contact the appropriate group leader. If your research area does not fall exactly into one of these categories, contact the group leader most closely associated with your area of interest. - Dr Liz Bacon and Mr Phil Clipsham - internet technologies, multimedia, E-learning, social & community technologies
- Prof Ed Galea - fire safety engineering, evacuation, human behaviour, pedestrian dynamics, CFD fire modelling, combustion, ventilation
- Prof Koulis Pericelous - continuum physics, algorithms and codes, CFD modelling
- Dr Miltos Petridis - computer science, artificial intelligence
- Prof Vitaly Strusevich - operations research
