Prospective Students :: Open Days
There are a number of University-wide open days planned throughout the year.
At our busiest period, between January and March, they run monthly and there are also several during clearing in August and September. Current dates include:
Saturday 13th March 2010
Saturday 19th June 2010
Members of staff from the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences (CMS) are available to talk to prospective students at all open days. There is also a talk on the degree programmes that CMS offers as well as talks on other aspects of student life and tours of the campus and accommodation.
If you have applied to study with us and have been offered a place (conditional or otherwise), you should receive an invitation to our open days. You can register by returning the slip enclosed with the invitation.
Alternatively, you can just turn up, although you may wish to register in advance to get updates and information about future events.
For more details about the range of open days we offer and other opportunities to visit the University, see our visiting page.
NB: In a recent survey (Oct 2008) of nearly 250 new CMS students, 93% of those who came to an open day said that it was either helpful, or very helpful, in choosing a University.
