Intranet Login Help for students at Greenwich or Partner Colleges
If you are studying on an Undergraduate or Postgraduate Programme at Greenwich, or a Foundation Degree at one of our Partner Colleges:
To login to the CMS Intranet you will need to you need to use your University username (e.g. aa001) and your CMS Windows password.
If you have not changed your CMS Windows password from it's default value then it will be one of the following:
- If the password included with your registration documentation is 8 characters or longer (it should also end with a number and a capital letter e.g. passwd3A) then this will also be your initial CMS Windows Password. This will be the case for almost all new students starting after September 2009.
- Otherwise your initial CMS Windows Password will be the password included with your registration documentation with a !1 (exclamation mark, one) at the front.
- Go to the CMS Labs and try to login there as your password may have expired (see above). If you have problems logging in to the labs you should speak to the Lab Support Staff.
- Use the user account management page to check your user account's status. You can also use this link to reset your password if you have forgotten it, or it has expired students passwords are set to expire every six months. Please note you will need details from your registration documentation in order to validate your identity.
- Contact the CMS Web Team who can investigate your problem further. If possible please email us from your University Email Account (remember you need to use your UNIX password to access your email) and include any error messages that you receive so that we can help you quicker.
