About the Department
Students on our Creative Digital Technologies courses are taught a wide range of media and web technologies such as multimedia authoring, graphic design, music technology, video editing, and 3D animation. Practical skills are always underpinned with the teaching of fundamental concepts which will be able to be transferred to future, emerging technologies. Students will also understand the wider context in which systems exist, studying relevant strategic, legal and ethical issues which will prepare them to become the managers of tomorrow.
Our staff consists of experienced teachers and researchers, many of whom have undertaken extensive consultancy, providing business with the kinds of system they teach about.
